Lovely staff and delicious food. A really nice atmosphere and scenery right beside the river. Also, the prices were fair for the quality you received!

This is definitely one of my favorite restaurants and a place where you have to stop and enjoy an amazing meal. While the menu is very enticing, today we had several appetizers. I couldn't decide which one was best. The chef, Maria Fernanda Ramos, excels in creating an array of new dishes based on local favorite fairs. We had the breaded quesillo (local cheese) with a reduction of uchuvas and mint. It was just sweet enough, and the breading was light enough to let the full flavor of the cheese through. We also had marinated octopus served on top of arepa oreja de perro (local soft tortilla style arepa made of rice, a local favorite), which was marinated with lime and cooked to perfection. Additionally, we had crunchi chicken gizzards served with round patacon medallions in a light marinade that were superb. Then we got shrimp in a Chipotle mayonnaise base served over arepa oreja de perro, which were just spici enough to keep you craving more. Then we had a trout ceviche served over arepa oreja de perro, which was exquisite. Finally, we shared two desserts, Achira tart (achira is a local biscuit) with arequipe (dulce de leche), which was excellent for it is nice and moist and fluffy and not over the top sweet! The other one was yacon tart (a root), which was sweet and excellent, too. Needless to say that this young chef is making waves and is already appearing in several publications and being praised for all her innovations utilizing well-known local favorite products. The restaurant overlooks the Magdalena river banks and has a beautiful view.
